 This Month's Blog

This month's blog is   Edtech Academic Writing Tools for Classroom Use . The new academic term is upon us, and for everyone involved in the schooling process, thoughts turn to how students will learn this year. Teaching writing skills is crucial to their development, but of course technology is playing a bigger part in literacy than ever before. These nine tools can be used both in and out of the classroom to help students get a grasp of good writing habits. Guest Blogger Gloria Kopp is a web content writer and an elearning consultant from Manville, Wyoming.

  Technology Tips

Tech Tip #1: 18 New Features You NEED to Try on iOS 10

The day is finally here: iOS 10 is out and with it, new emoji, iMessage tricks, and much more. Before you update, make sure to back up your phone. To be extra careful, download the update via your computer instead of over WiFi. Many people reported that the update over WiFi bricked their iPhones, and though Apple says the issue is fixed, better to be safe than sorry. If you're wary of downloading the newest update before any bugs are fixed and it's fully polished, take a look ahead for what you can expect to start using and loving. You can see them all: HERE.

Tech Tip #2: Text-To-Speech on iPhone

Want to know how to have your text messages read out loud on your iPhone? Luckily, on recent devices, this is an easy task to accomplish. You can find out how: HERE.

Tech Tip #3: 36 Edtech Tools for Your Classroom and Life

Vicky Davis shares her favorite EdTech Tools: "So many of these tools are essential to me. It is amazing how I use them every single day. Here's what I'm using all the time in my classroom (and life) right now. Some even hum along and do their job and I didn't do a thing but set them up." Find the list: HERE.
