Word List 7

1. create: to make something new
2. craft: the skill of making things by hand
3. sturdy: strongly built to last a long time , well built
4. tidy: neat and orderly
5. fragile: easily broken, delicate

Friday Activities

1. Click on the link to go to Word Jungle. Look at the question on the top of the page. Find the synonym and click swing so the monkey can catch the correct word.
2. Click on this link to make a word search or word scramble.
3. Type in 10 of your vocabulary words. Look in your vocabulary notebook. Print out the sheet. Complete it, and put it in your vocabulary notebook.

Use the daily activities to help you remember words that you learn each week. It is much easier to remember what the words mean if you do something with them and use them frequently in talking with your parents, family and friends.

The cane chairs were very sturdy.
She made a sturdy rocking chair out of bamboo.
