Word List 9
- absorb: to soak up, to take in
- nectar: very delicious, sweet liquid
- spoil: to become bad or rotten
- starve: to suffer from hunger, lack of food
- digest: to change food into juices that can be absorbed by the body
Friday Activities
- Make up your own quiz on-line using your vocabulary words. This game also grades you after your quiz! After entering your information, click on "Send Form" and your quiz will be created for you. (Be patient as it may take awhile to create your quiz.)

- Write your vocabulary words in alphabetical order in your vocabulary notebook. Write your own definition beside each word.

Use the daily activities to help you remember words that you learn each week. It is much easier to remember what the words mean if you do something with them and use them frequently in talking with your parents, family and friends.
