A large number of templates are available in Inspiration. This module will ask you to modify one.

Step 1. Open Inspiration. From the File menu select Template... A dialog box will appear showing some of the choices. In the image below, notice that the box in the scroll bar is fairly small, indicating that there are quite a few templates stored in Inspiration.

Step 2. Select Language Arts-Vocabulary. A template opens with nine empty ovals. The Vocabulary Word oval is highlighted, ready for you to begin typing. Don't click anywhere, you will have to highlight again before typing. Type the word "creative."

Step 3. To type in one of the empty ovals, double-click on the oval. Type three synonyms and three antonyms for the word creative. In the three ovals below "People who do this or who are this," type three examples of creative people.

Step 4. Select the text at the bottom of the concept map and delete the entire text box. Those were the instructions for using this template.

Step 5. Save your concept map. Print a copy. See an example.
